Going Beyond Behaviors

Assessment Solutions Increase Validity of the Selection Process

Going beyond behaviorsTake behavioral interviewing to the next level by including questions geared toward the personal skills, intrinsic motivators and behavioral styles required for superior performance. With TTI’s complete assessment solution, you not only have the assessment tools to accurately measure the qualities required by the job, but we also provide behavioral interviewing questions aimed at uncovering evidence of past performance in areas specific to the job. This unique aspect will give you a more well-rounded view of each candidate’s past experiences so you can more accurately predict their future success.

Once you have used the job-related interview questions to qualify applicants, TTI’s assessment tools make it easy to assess the qualities the candidates bring to the table and make a direct job/talent comparison. You can also further validate the individual’s assessment results in each area with compatible interview questions. For example, if the candidate’s report indicates mastery in “Creativity and Innovation”, you might ask the individual to provide an example of when they received special recognition for a new idea, method or process that improved results. Based on their response, you can immediately see the validity level of the assessment results. With an interview process this extensive, you can be sure you are not only selecting the right candidate for the job, but also the right job for the candidate.

Extremely interesting articles. Please consider changing the term “soft skills” to “professional skills”. To our clients, soft skills denotes something that has less importance compared to “hard skills”. We consultants have been working hard to change this image.

    Thanks for your consideration.
